Charming, Rustic, Elegant

We love weddings!
This is a privately owned Events Centre and the Perfect Wedding Venue.
We have had the honour of hosting over 60 weddings since opening our doors 5 years ago.

Christ the King Church
was built in 1936 and lovingly maintained as a catholic church until 2001.

Now this beautiful building has been restored to suit a wide variety of events for not only the community that built it,
but anyone who wants a unique venue to host or celebrate with friends and family.
The church has been restored but retains all the character in the original windows, woodwork,
choir loft, hardwood floors and glass door knobs just to mention a few.

Celebrate in style and surrounded by history.

This historic former church is located in the centre of picturesque Water Valley, Alberta.
(Only 45 mins NW of Calgary)

This adorable option comes with everything you see here
(Sparkling wine on ice, glasses, punch, napkins, decor and liquor license).
Set up in doors, it is perfectly designed to enjoy immediately following your ceremony to refresh your guests while you take a moment with your new spouse and spend some time taking advantage of all the wonderful photo opportunities the church provides before moving on to your reception location.

Does this sound like you?
This package is designed for the couple who wants to simply be married to the one they love with only the absolute most important people there to support them in an unforgettable historic venue!
We have organized it all so you don't have to! The cost for our venue for the indoor ceremony, Bubbly Bar and cake ready reception with everything you need for 50 guests is $2,400 + GST.
You will have 2 hours of private access to the church for your rehearsal the night before your big day. On the day of your ceremony everything will be ready for you and your guests to enjoy and celebrate for 4 hours.
